Shank With Drop for Blue Ox Weight Distribution System
Question:
I own a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and a Jayco Jayflight 29RKS 6750 lbs towing, 815 lbs tongue. I have the Blue Ox hitch and sway system. What down hitch will work?

I believe you are asking about a shank with drop for your Blue Ox weight distribution system.
Shanks are interchangeable so as long as you know how much drop you need you can choose what will work for you. For example, the Curt # C17123 shank will work and gives you up to 8-1/4" of drop if your Blue Ox system has trunnion bars or 8-1/2" if it has round bars. There is also the Curt # C17124 which gives you up to 9" of drop with trunnion bars or 10" with round bars; additionally, each of these shanks fit in a 2" hitch so if your Silverado has a 2-1/2" hitch you need to take that into account.
Also, from my research, the numbers you gave were the unloaded weight and dry (unloaded) tongue weight of your Jayco Jay Flight, and your weight distribution system should not be based off of those numbers. You will need to know your total tongue weight (TTW), which is the tongue weight of your fully loaded and ready to go Jay Flight plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your '14 Silverado. The ideal system would be one in which your TTW would fall somewhere in the middle of the weight distribution system's tongue weight capacity.
Your Jay Flight looked to have a GVWR of 9,500 lbs and if you had only about 100 lbs of cargo behind the rear axle of your Silverado you would need something like the Blue Ox # BXW1500, which has a tongue weight capacity of between 1,000 lbs and 1,500 lbs.
