For your 2018 Chevy Traverse with raised side rails you'll need to install a roof rack with bars that extend past the feet like the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA137B-2, and the SX Series Legs # RRSX100. This will work well with the Thule Hullavator # TH898 you referenced.
