Are Installation Instructions Included with 5th Wheel Base Rail Kits
Question:
Please tell me if your fifth wheel kits come with installation instructions? Thanks

Yes, installation instructions are included with the fifth-wheel base rail kits we have available, such as the Reese Quick-Install Installation Kit # RP50082-58 which is what I recommend for your 2002 Ford F-250/350. I have also attached the installation instructions for this kit to this answer page that you can review. This base rail kit includes custom frame brackets that will use existing holes in the truck's frame to eliminate the need to drill into it and will also drastically cut down on installation time.
If you have an 8 foot bed, I recommend looking at the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30928. This is an excellent, 20,000 pound rated hitch that features a forged single-piece jaw for a secure connection to the trailer and a 9 inch wide funnel for easy hookup. If you have the 6-3/4 foot bed, I recommend a Reese slider such as hitch # RP30051 so you can get the needed cab clearance during sharp turns.
I have attached a couple short video demonstrations on these hitches that you can also check out.
