Does Trailer Hitch for 2017 GMC Acadia Limited Come With 4-Way Wiring?
Question:
Tow package - Does this kit come with the 4 pin wiring?
asked by: Marco
Expert Reply:
There is 4-pin wiring available for your 2017 GMC Acadia Limited, but Curt hitch # 13424 does not include the wiring.
Instead, you need the T-One Wiring Harness # 118270 which gives you a 4-flat connector allowing you to power your trailer's lights. If you are going to be towing, I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which is for 2” hitches and may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
You can use the link to the help article on ball mounts I've added to determine if this kit will give you the correct amount of drop or rise.
