Does Thule Canyon XT Cargo Basket Fit on 2012 Subaru Forester with Factory Crossbars
Question:
I have the Subaru Forester OEM Cross Bars Roof Rack - E361SSC300 installed on my 2012 and just bought a Thule Canyon XT cargo basket. When using the 40mm U bolt I’m not sure it’s a great fit. Is there a better adapter for the connection?

I checked with Thule and they confirm the fit of the Thule Cayon XT part # TH859XT for the factory crossbars of your 2012 Subaru Forester without any other adapter needed. They also don't have any other adapter available for the basket either.
