The Replacement Switch for Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear # LG-145236 has the wiring colors you specified and will connect in the manner shown in the attached photo. The pink will connect to the positive battery terminal. The short black will attach to the negative battery terminal. The long black will connect to one side of the motor and the red to the other side of the motor. These wires will change the direction the motor turns, so you will want to make sure they are connected to the proper side based on your motor mounting location. Some motors are color coded to assist like the motor and switch kit # LG-217884.

my replacement landing gear switch has two black wires of same length trying to determine which one goes to battery ground and which to black motor wire

@JL You'll just want to try it both ways. If the legs raise when you push the rocker switch down, then the polarity is reversed and you'll want to swap the wires the other way.

Can you tell me what brand/model jack system you have? Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to verify the correct wiring connections without knowing what specific model switch is being used. Hopefully fixing this issue is just a matter of swapping one of the wires to the motor, but it's hard to tell for certain.
