Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 1996 Ford F-250
Question:
1996 F250 with wiring harness in the attached photo. Do you have a conversion connector to more common 4 pin or can I rewire with existing wires. Thanks.

I am not sure what that plug is for that you found on your 1996 Ford F-250. It does not match what the custom harnesses we have available for your truck will plug into, and based on your photo, it looks like you found it near the truck's rear tail lights. The correct plug to install a wiring harness into should actually be located under the truck, along the driver's-side frame rail. It will be a round plug like the attached photo.
Once you find the factory plug on your F-250, I recommend using the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118316. This will plug right into the factory port and provide you with a 4-Way flat connector to power your trailer's basic signal lights.
I have attached an installation video on the 1994 Ford F-150 that you can also use for reference. The process should be almost identical on your 1996 F-250.
