Kodiak Disc Brake Kit Recommendation for Dexter D30 3,500 lb Trailer Axle
Question:
you have a kit # K2HR526D that was recommended for the 3500# dexter axle, will the caliper bracket on this kit mount correctly to the 4 bolt spindle on the axle Dexter D30 so that the calipers will mount properly? The description says its a 5 bolt pattern, but there appears to more holes that just 5 mounting holes. Please clarify this for me. Im interested in replacing my electric brakes with electric over hydraulic and would need the entire setup for this. Thank you

I found the question you mentioned and the Dexter Brake Kit part # K2HR526D that you referenced was recommended for a higher capacity axle than a 3,500 lb Dexter.
Since you have a 3,500 lb Dexter axle with a 4 bolt mounting flange the correct kit you need is the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HR35D which will fit and work well. This has a Dacromet finish too.
