Thank you for the information. I will be able to use this to make sure you get the correct parts for your trailer. In order to add electric drum brakes you are going to need four brake mounting flanges, four braking assemblies, four hub/drums, a trailer wiring kit, a breakaway kit, and a brake controller.
For the brake mounting flanges, I recommend the Brake Mounting Flange part # 4-44-1 which uses the standard five bolt brake mounting flange pattern and will fit a 3" diameter axle. I recommend verifying the axle diameter. This flange will need to be welded to the axle. For the braking assemblies, I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-7-SA which are self-adjusting. This means that you will not need to make continual adjustments for even pad wear after the initial setup.
Then for the hub/drums, I recommend the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-655-6-K which measures 12" diameter x 2" wide and has a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern. For the trailer wiring kit, I recommend the Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit part # HS381-9000 which comes with everything you need to add a 7-way to your trailer including the junction box and wiring connectors. The correct breakaway kit I recommend for you is the Hopkins Engager Push-To-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit part # 20099 which comes with a battery and easy to test charger.
If you do not already have a brake controller then I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 which is one of our, if not the best selling controllers we offer due to the continuous diagnostic checks and integrated safeguards. If you can tell me the year, make, and model of your tow vehicle then I will see if we have a vehicle specific adapter for you but if not, the kit comes with a universal harness that will work.
Please see the attached review/install videos on the above products.
