Foot Pack and Fit Kit to Use Thule WingBars from 2013 Honda Accord on 2018 Subaru Outback  

Question:

Hi— I have a 2018 Outback with factory racks. I also have Thule Wingbars with Thule 480R podiums off a 2013 Accord. I’d like to mount these wingbars on my new outback, and just want to verify I’ll need a set of Thule 460R and fit kit 4063 to mount these. Does that sound right? Thanks for your help, just want to make sure before I click “pay”. Regards—

Yes, you want the Podium foot pack, part # TH460R, along with the fit kit # THKIT4063 for your 2018 Subaru Outback.

The 47 inch WingBars, part # TH711220 or part # TH711200, are the recommended length for the Subaru but the 53 inch bars, part # TH711420 or part # TH711400, are likely what you have from the Accord. Since the bars are only 3 inches shorter on each side this likely won't be an issue; as long as the tracks on the bottom of the bars still fit within the rails on your Subaru you'll be fine.
