Can the CURT Offset Gooseneck Ball for Double-Lock Gooseneck Hitches be Turned 180 Degrees

Question:

On this 4 off set ball is the stem that goes in the double lock hitch 2 3/4 dia? I had a double lock hitch on a 2007 tundra and the orientation was with the off set in the hitch toward the cab. I bought the mounting kit for a 2011 F-150 61/2 bed and the off set in the hitch is away from the cab. Does the C 602 off set ball have the locking grooves on both sides so it can be rotated 180?

I spoke with my contact at CURT about the orientation of the Offset Ball for Double-Lock Gooseneck Hitch, # C602. He stated that it can be inserted either way, to be closer to the cab or closer to the tailgate. You will be able to lock it in in either position.
