Availability of Separate 4-Way from 7-Way for 2014 GMC Sierra 1500
Question:
Is the two plugs wired together or are they wired separate. Also can you take out only the 4 way plug out of the bracket or does the whole plug come out as one?

The Hopkins 7 and 4-Way Kit part # HM40975 which is a confirmed fit for your 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 has the 4-way and 7-way connected in a way that would not allow you to separate them.
If you wanted to wire in a separate 4-way you could use the part # C55384 inline with this connector and you'd have a separate one.
