hallo would it make any diffrence if the cam hanger would be mounted toward the back of the trailer instead of toward the front

Where you install the chain hanger when using the Reese Dual Cam High-Performance Sway Control # RP26002 does matter.
If you take a look at the linked instructions, they specify the lengths you will need depending on the type of coupler and type of spring bars you have. The positioning of each part of a weight distribution hitch is important so you can get the appropriate tension with the cams.
