Parts Needed to Add a 7-Way and Brake Controller to a 2008 Honda Pilot with 4-Way Connector
Question:
I need to buy a brake controller for my 2008 Honda Pilot. It came with the factory trailer package but that was only 4 pin trailer and I am getting a 7 wire trailer. It seems with the hopkins item HM47294 brake controller I can use the adatper item HM47935. But do I still need to run more cables to the back of the vehicle? How would I hook up the 7 wire adapter like item HM48470??? Any help is appreciated!!!

A brake controller and 7-Way connector can certainly be added to your 2008 Honda Pilot. They will need to be hardwired in though using # ETBC7. Wires do have to be run from the controller to the new 7-Way as well as from the vehicle battery to the controller and 7-Way. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
