Karrier ST175/80R13 Trailer Tire and Wheel Recommendation as a Replacement for a A78 x 13B Tire

Question:

I am interested in the following wheel/tire combo Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13 White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D and had a question about compatibility. My trailer calls for A78 x 13B tires 32psi, and 13 x 4 1/2 rims. I am just wondering if these will fit, and also if I would want to run them at 65 psi instead of 32. I feel good about the wheel, but I am just not sure how to convert the old size convention to the current one on the tires. This looks like a great package, but if it wont work, could you please suggest an appropriate product? Thank you!

As long as your trailer has a 5 on a 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern this Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13 inch White Wheel # AM31985 would work for you. The A78 x 13B tire size that you referenced is the exact same size as the ST175/80 size.

When it comes to trailer tires you always want them inflated to the maximum psi so they will perform better, wear better, and get the best gas mileage.

I attached a couple FAQ pages on trailer tire sizes and FAQs for you to check out also.
