Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack for a 2009 Lexus GX 470

Question:

Regarding the GX 470, is there another option that is not the universal fit? A Rhino that would fit into the factory mounting points when I remove the factory rack? Thanks again!

The 60" x 49" Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack # RR35TB requires specific fit kits and is only compatible with certain vehicles. We do have a Pioneer platform rack that will fit the factory crossbars on your 2009 Lexus GX 470 but unfortunately this is not the correct part number.

Instead you need to use the 58" x 47" Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack # RR42115BF which is a universal fit that is compatible with round, square, elliptical, and most factory crossbars. This rack features mounting points that slide for the perfect fit and it comes with a 5-year limited warranty.

If you are going to take off your OEM roof rack to fit the Pioneer then you will just need the following parts: Pioneer Platform Rack - # RR25TB Leg Spacer Blocks - # RRQMHD05 RCH Legs - # RRRCH6 Custom RCP Fit Kit - # RRRCP03-BK This will mount in the existing points on your GX 470 as long as it doesn't have the raised rails.
