Best Replacement Trailer Tire to Fit 15 inch Trailer Wheel
Question:
I seem to consistently average 3200 to 3800 miles per set of tires. Religiously check tire pressures and have had tires balanced. Had frame alignment and axle alignment checked.I currently run SD205/75D15c tires as this is what the manufacturer specifies. What size larger? and heavier duty can I replace my tires with to get longer life and better safety?

Best option would be to switch to a radial trailer tire as they tend to wear better and last longer for highway use. Also going up to the nexte size of 225/75-15 would help too. For that the best option would be the Westlake ST225/75R15 Load Range E # LHWL304 which has a capacity of 2,830 lbs at 80 psi and a speed rating of 75 mph.
This also comes with a 2 year roadside assistance program. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
