Double Wire Recommendation for Powering Trailer Wiring and 7-Way 12 Volt Circuit
Question:
I installed Tekonsha T-one vehicle wiring Harness which has a hot lead to battery. I am planning to purchase Trailer Mount brake control Prodigy RF. I need run another power cable from 7 pole connector to the battery. I am wondering can I connect the power wire from 7 pole connector to the hot lead on T-one harness instead run a power from the battery under the front hood. Thank you very much!

You wouldn't want to use the same 12 volt power wire for the 7-way to install the Prodigy RF part # TK94FR and the 4-way kit you have as well. Your best option would be to use the part # 10-2-1. This is a double wire that's bonded together so it would be like running a single wire but you can then split either side of the ends of it for each circuit and you'd be set.
