Best Fifth Wheel Hitches to Fit Ford Factory Rail Kit of 2018 Ford F-250

Question:

I have asked owners of 250/2500 trucks if they use slider 5th wheel hitches for 6.75 beds. Every one said they never had to actually use the slide feature. My question, what is your experience, need a slider or no for these vehicles? What do you think is the best slider manual operation and best nonslider?

For a truck bed that is 6-3/4 feet in length you are pretty close to not needing a slider in all situations but if the nose of the trailer does not have a taper to it and the pin box is short you'd end up needing one.

B and W makes the best fifth wheel hitches for both slider and non-slider hitches. If you have the factory Ford rail kit in your 2018 Ford F-250 for a slider the part # BWRVK3370 would be the best option. Then for a fixed hitch the Companion part # BWRVK3300 would be what you'd need.
