What do I need for a 5th wheel hitch for a 2008 ford f-150 6 1/2 foot bed would like to keep truck bed clear when not towing

For a fifth wheel hitch for your 2008 Ford F150 with a 6-1/2 foot bed you could use a Curt E5 16K Fifth Wheel Trailer hitch with R16 Roller # 16516. You will also need a rail and installation kit, for that you would want a CURT Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16441-104. This is a custom kit that will install in about half the time as a universal kit and will minimize drilling.
