You will actually need # RHK if the hitch on your 2004 Ford Ranger is an aftermarket hitch. Enter the hitch number and manufacturer on the RHK page to get the right hardware.

Hardware kit # 01685 was designed for specific aftermarket trailer hitches for 1980 to 1997 Ford F-Series.
