Will Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack Fit Draw-Tite Class I Trailer Hitch
Question:
I have a question about a hitch rack that I am looking at on your website. the hitch rack is here: TH9035XT I have this 1.25inch hitch installed on my car, it is a class 1 hitch: 24935 This this hitch have enough depth to install the thule rack? The thule website says that 1.38 inches of receiver depth middle of pin hole to deepest section of the receiver is required. The only issue I am thinking about is if the safety tab punched in my hitch receiver will prevent me from getting 1.38 inches from the middle of the pin hole to the deepest end of the receiver. Can you measure the product in the warehouse? My hitch pin is rounded and I do not have a ruler to measure the exact distance. The hitch rack is quite expensive, but it is the one that I want to buy if it will fit. Thanks!

The Thule T2 Pro XTR 2 Bike Platform Rack # TH23JV referenced in your question will work great with the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24935 on your vehicle. I went out to our warehouse to take a look at the Draw-Tite Hitch and measured a distance of right at around 2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the safety tab that you mentioned.
The Thule T2 Pro is a great bike rack that will secure 2 bikes with a total weight of up to 100 pounds. Its ratcheting hooks will secure the bikes by their wheels with no frame contact and the rack can be tilted down, with the bikes still loaded, for easy rear cargo access. A bike and hitch lock are also included to secure everything into place and help deter theft.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this bike rack that you can also check out.
