Does Weight of Weight Distribution System Count as Trailer Tongue Weight

How much weight will be added to the tongue of the trailer when using anti-sway bar weight distribution Hitch ?

When calculating tongue weight for a weight distribution system you would not add the weight of the system into the calculations. Our manufactufers have told us that the WD system essentially becomes part of the trailer hitch so it's weight does not factor in.
To choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.
