Looking for four prong at each end trailer wiring at least 8 ft long.

If you are looking for just an extension then the Hopkins 4-Pole Flat Wiring Extension # HM48235 that you referenced is 10' long and will be exactly what you are needing.
For a flat towing application we have the common 4-Way round connectors like part # HM47046 which is 8' long or for a 4-Way flat connector you would need both the part # RM-300150-00 (6') and the part # HM47004 (2').
