Will a Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Fit in Valley 5th Wheel Rails in a 2005 Ford F-250

Question:

I bought a 2005 F-250 and the previous owner left a set of Valley rails bolted in the bed. Will the Reese hitch #RP30075 fit these rails? Thanks

The Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Round Tube Slider, # RP30075, will fit in Valley 5th wheel rails. If you want to double check to make sure compare the Valley rails you have in your 2005 Ford F-250 with the following measurements.

There should be 3 sets of rectangular mounting tabs on top of each rail. From side to side, the closest set is 10 inches apart on center. The center set is 20-5/8 inches apart on center. And the set at the ends of each rail are 29 inches apart on center.

From front to back between the two rails, the distance is 21-13/16 inches center to center. If the rails you have match these dimensions, the Reese hitch will fit. I have included a picture that shows the Reese rail dimensions I have listed above.
