Wiring Adapter Needed to Install Prodigy P2 90885 in 2000 Chevy 2500
Question:
I am having trouble installing a Prodigy P2 on my 2000 Chevy 2500. I bought the pickup with Tekonsha Voyager already installed and would like to switch. I have followed your video on the installation of the P2 on a 2003 Chevy, but I cant seem to get it to work. When I have the P2 hooked up, only the manual lever applys brakes it also turns my running lights on the trailer on when applying the manual lever. There seems to be no response when I use the brake pedal. The wiring harness I have to plug the P2 into the pickup says its good for 03-07 Silverados, do I need a different harness since I have a 2000?
