Determining if SportRack Pathway Deluxe Bike Rack Will Clear Spare Tire on 2017 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
Will the SportRack Pathway Deluxe 3 bike carrier item# SR2703 fit on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler with a stock spare tire. I was unable to find the measurement specs for rear spare tire clearance. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

In order to determine if a particular hitch-mounted bike carrier will clear the spare tire on your 2017 Jeep Wrangler, you will just want to start by taking a quick measurement on your vehicle. Measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on the trailer hitch to the outermost edge of the spare tire. This will give you the distance needed from the center of the hitch pin hole on a bike rack's shank to the closest part of the carrier.
The SportRack Pathway Deluxe 3 Bike Rack # SR2703 referenced in your question features a generous distance of 12-1/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the upright bar. As long as the above mentioned measurement on your Jeep is less than 12-1/4 inches, this carrier will fit and work well without any interference with the spare. Looking at the trailer hitches we were able to install on your Jeep, and the clearance measurements we took when doing so, this rack should give you plenty of clearance, but you will still want to measure to be sure.
This single-arm carrier can secure 3 bikes with a total weight of up to 132 pounds. The tilting mast will allow you to access your rear cargo carrier and the red reflector at the end of the cradle arm adds nighttime visibility. I do recommend adding the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock # SR0901 to secure the rack to your vehicle and help deter theft.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this bike rack that you can also check out.
