Safety Chains and the Reese Elite Series Gooseneck Kit Compatibility

Hello, Just this week, i received my Reese Goose Ball set up along with this ball and chain loop kit. The ball is fine but the chain loop items are too big for my safety chains to lock around. They will hook on them but the oops are way too big for the chain lock to release. I ordered the chains from you as well.

The Tow Ready Safety Chain Kit with Clevis Hooks # 49150 you ordered fit on the Reese Elite Series Pop-In Ball Kit you purchased. My recommendation is to feed the clasp all the way through the loops and connect the clevis to the chain itself if you desire the clasp latch. The clasp isn't required for your chains to work with the clevis hook.
