Roof Rack for a Truck Cap on a 2018 Ford F-150 6-1/2' Bed

Question:

I am considering adding a roof rack for a light weigh boat to sit on top of my 6-1/2 foot truck canopy. The canaopy has no existing provisions, like rails, etc. What would you recommend?

The best system that we have for the cap on your 2018 Ford F-150 is the Thule TracRac CapRac Ladder Rack # TH29200XT. This does require drilling into the cap on your truck but the permanent installation but they do give you a great look that you can utilize to carry your small boat.

Please note that the weight capacity of this roof rack system is completely dependant upon the weight capacity of your truck cap. I recommend checking your owner's manual for the truck cap to ensure you don't damage your cap.
