Will Installing A Hitch On The Toyota Camry SE Affect Lower Body Molding
Question:
Hello, I am trying to find out which hitch would be best on a 2018 Camry SE or Sport model. It has lower body molding that is part of the rear bumper. looks more like the lexus It also sits a little lower than the regular camry. I am also wondering if you have a picture of any so I can see how it will look.

When installing Curt trailer hitch # C11576 you will need to remove the tie down bracket from passenger side frame rail, trim a 4.25" x 2" portion from the heat shield and trim a 4.75" x 10.0" portion from the underbody panel.
I attached pictures of the trailer hitch so you can see how it looks. There are also pictures of the hitches installed on the Camry in the attached instruction manuals (see attached). No trimming or cutting will have to be done to the body of the Camry, all trimming and cutting is done under the body, therefore leaving the outside appearance of the car intact.
