Best Material for Wiring Connections and Contacts on Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow Connector HM48470
Question:
Aside from using dielectric grease on the connections, do you have any opinion on the best material to be used for the wiring connections and the contacts? Brass or plated steel?

Expert Reply:
For the actual electrical connections from the wiring to the terminals on the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow connector # HM48470 copper is going to be your best option. But between brass and steel I would go with steel. You don't see a lot of brass in electrical connectors like these.
