Hitch Extender for 2-1/2 Hitch on 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty

Question:

I have a 2016 F350 pulling a 35foot travel trailer. We have a golf cart that I would like to put in the bed of the truck. Problem is I need an extender so there would be no interference with the golf cart and the camper when turning. Is it possible to use a hitch extender in this application?

It seems like you have a 2-1/2" hitch on your 2016 Ford F-350 and for that you can use Extension # RP45292, which you can secure to your hitch with Pin and Clip # 37201065, though be aware it may not work with some OEM Class V hitches that have rounded edges. This extension can be used at 34" which will give you a towing capacity of 4,500 lbs or 6,000 lbs if you are using a weight distribution system.

Keep in mind this extension will reduce the receiver to 2" so if your current ball mount only fits a 2-1/2" receiver you would need a new one. I have added a link to our page with our selection of ball mounts for you to check out.
