Where to Install Two Blue Relays From Tekonsha Vehicle Wiring Harness for 2016 Nissan Pathfinder
Question:
I recently purchased a tow bar and wiring for my 2016 Nissan Pathfinder. Everything went as described until it was time to plug in the relay switches under the hood. The positions that the blue relays were to go into didnt look like the set up in my car. Im not sure if what I have already in place will work. It does say tow. I am guessing that I should go ahead and check to see if it all works as it is currently set. If not, I am not sure of the next step. Thank you,

The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118273 that you referenced is confirmed to fit your 2016 Nissan Pathfinder. It's very possible that the remaining two blue relays that you mentioned might not actually be needed. In some models, the necessary relays are already present in the relay compartment under the hood. In these cases, the two included blue relays simply aren't used.
I recommend proceeding from here by just checking that that everything works fine with your trailer connected to the 7-Way. You can also use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test the pins on the 7-Way while you have a buddy run through the lighting functions in the vehicle to make sure they are receiving the appropriate power.
I have attached an installation video on the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder that you can also check out. At around the 6 minute mark in the video, you can see the step where the installer goes to insert the relays, but like on your vehicle, they are actually already present so they aren't used.
