Can Longer Ball Mount Be Replace with Draw Tite Adjustable Ball Mount # 7390
Question:
I am interested in a replacement ball mount. I jackknifed when reversing and tore the sway control tab off my existing mount. My question is existing length of my ball mount is 15 inches, the product I am looking at is around 12 7390 ... does the length matter? I am towing a Coachmen Clipper 17bh with a 2017 Honda Pilot.

Expert Reply:
The Draw Tite adjustable ball mount part # 7390 would work well to replace your current ball mount that is 15 inches in overall length. This ball mount has a distance of 11-3/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. The small reduction in length would not cause any issues for you at all.
I attached a review video for this ball mount for you to check out as well.
