Brake Controller Installation on Side of Center Console
Question:
I am wondering if either brake controller, part # 90195 or # 90160, can be mounted with the display pointing straight up, like on the side of the vehicle center console. Thank you

The brake controllers # 90195 and # TK90160 cannot be mounted to the side of a center console due to the internal sensor that detects deceleration.
For your desired mounting position, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR or the Curt Spectrum # C51170. Both of these options will use a box that has that sensor you can mount under your dash out of sight and give you the controls right where you desire them.
