Recommended Roof Rack for 2005 Toyota Matrix

I was thinking of purchasing a roof rack for my 2005 Toyota Matrix. I have no factory racks or rails on the car. The problem is I cannot find the anchor points to secure the racks to. Where are they located? I lifted up the rubber sealer on the roof and still couldn't find them. What do you suggest?

The best bet for your 2005 Toyota Matrix is to go with a clamp-style system like the excellent Rhino-Rack Vortex Roof Rack. This system consists of # RRVA126B-2 for the two 49 inch Vortex Aero Crossbars, # RRRLKVA for the 2500 Series Legs, and # DK062 for the Custom Fit Kit. This is a really nice kit that will provide you with an aerodynamic, quiet roof rack with a weight capacity of 165 pounds.

The legs # RRRLKVA claim they can use fixed mounting points so that may be an option, but either way you will have an option with this kit: clamps or the fixed mounting points.
