Trailer Taillight Converters That Go From Separate to Combined and Combined to Separate

Question:

Hello, Im trying to wire US-made Subaru with 4 pin flat to 13 pin European trailer. I understand I need to split brake from turn signals and in a previous response Jameson C recommends Tekonsha 119130. Sounds simple BUT Tekonsha part is for the opposite conversion - from EU car to US trailer i.e. merger. Is the adapter flippable i.e. if I use it in the opposite direction will that work? I cant find the schematics to tell but Im doubtful ...moreover Ill need male-to-female adapter for the flat 4. Otherwise Ill be sticking and stitching with Tekonsha 118158 but that will be even more messy ... Thanks!

We have trailer taillight converters that can from from separate to combined like the # RM-732 and ones that go from combined to separate like the part # 118158 like you mentioned. These do not work in reverse though so you'll need to go with the correct one for your setup.
