Bike Rack Recommendation for Towing Trailer that Needs 6 inch Rise Ball Mount
Question:
Hi! I’ve got a 2016 Mazda CX-5 with Curt 2” receiver installed. I’d need to connect a 2” ball with a 6” rise. But I also want to put a splitter so that I can install a bike rack in between the car and trailer. I know how to do this without the 6” rise. Do you have any suggestions to do so? Thanks!

Best option will be to use the Bike Rack Bunk part # CC-275 which attaches to the A-frame of the trailer and allows a bike rack to install above it.
This will then allow you to use a 6 inch rise ball mount we have the part # C45100 and then for a 2 inch ball # 63845 would be what you want. There really isn't a good way to attach a bike rack to a ball mount shank either if the ball mount has a rise of 6 inches.
