Can 4- and 7-Way Connectors on Multi-Tow Harness # 74682 be Used at the Same Time
Question:
I want to hook a small trailer behind my camper. I need a 7-way for the camper, and a 4-way for the small trailer. Is it possible with the multi-port connection?

You would have to be careful using a 4- and 7-Way connector such as # 74682 at the same time. The problem is that doing so could potentially overdraw one or more circuits. One way to help avoid this would be to change out lights on the camper and trailer to LED lights since they draw such little power.
You could also check the power draw for everything that would be drawing power through the trailer connectors and compare that to what each of the circuits is rated for to determine if there could be an overdraw problem.
And another option is to wire in a 4-Way hardwire harness # 18252 to the tail light wiring on your 2011 GMC Sierra. That way it is drawing power through the tail light wiring rather than the tow package wiring. Since the tail lights on your truck have combined turn signals and brake lights you would not need to have a converter.
