Does Trailer Hitch Install on 2005 Volvo V50 Void Hitch Warranty
Question:
Hi. Ordered and received my hitch no prob for my new car. . For a 205 Volvo v50Also got my cars warranty info the day after my hitch arrived. The warranty info said its doesnt cover issues if car is used to tow with a non-Volvo approvedinch towing kit. You guys ever run into that and have any documentation stating Volvo is ok with Curt hitches? Ive asked the dealer multiple times for info and am not getting answers very quickly. Thanks,

When you install an aftermarket part on your vehicle like a trailer hitch in this case, you are protected by the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. This act states, in part, that unless the installation and the part caused a problem then the warranty cannot be voided. I recommend looking it up online.
