Does Trailer Jack Powered from Vehicle 7-Way Require A Ground Wire Ran as Well
Question:
My jack works perfectly when hooked up to the camper battery but Id like to run it off the pickup battery via a 10ga extension. Ive tried but it wont work. Do I need to run a ground wire to the pickup or what?

Yes, assuming the power wire of your 12 volt trailer wiring circuit is active you would also need to ground the wire of the jack too to activate it.
