Battery Dead After T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness With 4-Pole Flat Instal
Question:
I doubt it is pure coincidence but our battery went dead after this installation. We noticed the instrument dash thinks the back rear hatch is open but we have repeatedly checked to make sure it was closed so we think the back light may have drained the battery but arent 100 sure of that. Any ideas on what we need to check relative to installation procedure?

I suspect something is drawing constant power may be the cause of the battery going dead after your installation. I recommend using a circuit tester # PTW2992 on your new 4-way to see if any function has constant power when the lights are supposed to be off. While testing and if you observe a function has constant power the harness is likely bad.
You mentioned the alert about the rear hatch being open. If you disconnect the new 4-way harness, does this alert go away?
