This Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30928 will fit your 2014 Ram 3500 8 Foot Bed with Factory Rail Kit, but you will need Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # RP30154 to fit inside the factory pucks that are in the bed of the truck. Just mount the adapter in your underbed rails using the integrated pucks and lock it place. Now you have the standard, above-bed base rails needed to install your fifth-wheel hitch.
The Installation Rails # RP30154 are an adapter that will cause the fifth wheel hitch to sit approximately 2 inches higher, which affects the Vertical Adjustment ranges listed.
