You can install a 5th wheel hitch in your truck BUT Curt Q20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16671 was designed for Chevy/GMC trucks that came with the factory 5th wheel prep package. This package was not available on the 2015 model year GMC Sierra 2500. It wasn't available as an option until the 2016 model year.

For an underbed system that is like the factory prep package you can use one of the following set ups:

Reese install kit # RP30868 with hitch # BWRVK3370
B&W kit # BWGNRK1012-5W, which doubles as a gooseneck hitch, with hitch # BWRVK3400-5W

These recommendations are assuming you have a short bed truck since you asked about a slider hitch initially. For any of the above installation kits you will not have to drill into the frame for installation. Drilling through the bed is required for any 5th wheel installation kit.
