Best Pin Box Replacement Recommendation to Improve Ride Quality for 2017 Big Country
Question:
I have a 2017 Big Country 5th wheel. It has the stock 1621 pin box on it. I would like to replace it to improve my towing experience. Ive looked at several on here and would like some expert advice for my application. One question I have is the current pin box is rated for 16,000# and my thought is always go a little better with anything - so would you recommend a higher weight capacity pin box? And what do you recommend? Pros and Cons? I just recently purchased from you the 5,000# air bags for my 2017 GMC 2500 so that I have a level ride when towing so I naturally thought that changing out the pin box should even improve my ride. Thanks in advance for you help.

The all-around best solution will be the Sidewinder/5th Airborne part # RP61422 which has a cushioned air bag to make the ride quality smoother and also has a pivoting mechanism that allows the trailer to pivot 22 inches further back than normal so that you have better turning clearance, a trailer that tracks better around corners, and is easier to back up.
If you are wanting something to improve your towing experience this is the best solution by far. It has a 16k capacity like your current pin box which means it has plenty of capacity.
