How to Attach Weight Distribution Spring Bars Using Bolt On Chain Hangers
Question:
From the website photos of item #RP58305 i cannot see how the bar chains attach and create tension. How do i hook and unhook? Do i simply raise the trailer, hook up, and lower the trailer to create tension? It does not appear to hinge up like the snap up hangers. Thanks.

You are correct, the Chain Hangers for Reese Weight Distribution Systems, # RP58305, do not work the same way as the lift up brackets. You will need to attach the trailer to the ball mount and then jack up both trailer and truck with the trailer jack. You can then attach the spring bars which will provide the appropriate tension.
