Curt Trailer Hitch # 13326 Installation on 2002-2003 Dodge Ram 1500

In the picture with all the hardware I saw the little black bar what is that for do I need to install the black bar too.. thanks

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13326 will only utilize that spacer plate (black bar) if a gap exists between the hitch and the frame. You won't see that used in the two attached videos. It explains where it would be used in the attached installation details.
