Front Hitch Recommendation for 2013 Chevy Avalanche Non-ZL1

Question:

Hi, I just got a 2013 Chev Avalanche not Z71. I want to put a front hitch on. I believe the front bumper on the Avalanche/Tahoe/Suburban comes closer to the ground than the front bumper on the Silverado. Your product or shows Curt C31012 and Draw Tite 65052. I like the no-drilling feature and the center support bar on the Draw Tite, My question is about ground clearance and the position of where the receiver tube will be in relation to the front bumper. I dont mind cutting the black air dam in the center but NOT the painted bumper fascia. I measured 8inch from the bottom of the truck frame to the bottom of the bumper fascia, then the air dam extends about 2inch below that. According to this page https://www.etrailer.com/question-113070.html the Draw Tite 65052 hitch is 7.75inch from the TOP of the mounting brackets to the BOTTOM of the receiver. Assuming the receiver is about 3inch high that means 4.75inch from the TOP of the mounting brackets to the TOP of the receiver, it looks like on the Avalanche I would have to cut 3.25into the front bumper fascia 8- 4.75. Could you confirm that I have this correct? thanks.

The best solution we have would be the Curt Front hitch part # C31012 as we've installed it on a 2008 GMC Yukon which has the similar style of front bumper to your Avalanche and we didn't have to cut into the front bumper like what you see in the install video I attached below. Also check out the install pictures too.

This hangs a couple inches lower than the Draw Tite too so it's the better choice.
