Troubleshooting a Tekonsha Prodigy RF Brake Controller that Wont Pair
Question:
Tekonsha prodigy 90250 won’t pair up I cannot get the 0.0 when trying to pair up my handheld brake system . I did follow the video on YouTube properly and yes the it is unplugged in the brake control box as per the video . What can I do ?

Are you getting any kind of code on the handheld system that comes with the (discontinued) Prodigy RF 90250? One thing that might be wrong is that vehicles with certain late model European tow packages may require the use of a tester like part # C73NR or another truck or SUV to pair the receiver and transmitter.
Try this out and let me know if it fixes your problem. If it doesn't, let me know what the year/make/model of your tow vehicle is as well as what wiring connector you have on your tow vehicle and trailer.
I have linked one of our installation videos for you to check out. I am not sure what you saw on YouTube so hopefully this may shed some more light on the installation.
