Base Plate Kit Compatible With Roadmaster Falcon Tow Bar and Flat Towing Parts on 2016 Ford Explorer

I have a 2016 ford explorer and was wondering if you have the kit that I would need using the Falcon Roadmaster tow bar?

For a base plate kit that fits your 2016 Ford Explorer and is compatible with the Roadmaster Falcon # RM-522 tow bar I recommend the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit # RM-524446-4, which will work so long as your Explorer does NOT have Active Air Shutters. You will also need to connect safety chains # RM-643.

There are a number of other parts you'll need to flat tow your '16 Explorer, For wiring kit that will allow your vehicle's lights to function while being towed you can use the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 and because you need to disconnect your battery I also recommend using the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766.

A supplemental braking system is a requirement in most states and I highly recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play # SM99251 for this. This is a proportional braking system which is a one-time install which you can leave in so you'll never have to deactivate or re-activate it.

Finally, it is likely you will need a high-low adapter such as # RM-076 to keep your tow bar level with your tow vehicle. The adapter you need is going to depend on some measurements you'll need to take.
